Become a certified BLS Instructor and teach a variety of American Heart Association courses! This course is designed for those who intend to teach both healthcare providers and laypersons. Our comprehensive BLS Instructor course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to teach the following disciplines: -BLS Provider (instructor-led and blended online courses) -Heartsaver® CPR (instructor-led and blended online courses) -First Aid (instructor-led and blended online courses) -Bloodborne Pathogens Prerequisites: -BLS Provider Certification   -Heartsaver® Provider Certification - included -First Aid Provider Certification - included -Completion of the BLS Instructor Essentials Online Course (approximately 2 hours)  - included -Purchase of the AHA BLS Instructor Manual (eBook or hard copy) -not included   -Instructions for purchasing the BLS Instructor Manual will be provided upon enrollment. Requirements after the course: You will be required to have Instructor Monitoring by an AHA Instructor within 90 days of class completion.   We include Instructor Monitoring in the course cost. You may schedule your Instructor Monitoring Session with your instructor anytime. More about this will be discussed during class.
