AHA ACLS Heartcode - Skills Session Only (must complete the required online Heartcode ACLS course). About this class: This American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Heartcode Skills Session, offered by Venus Heart, is the hands-on portion required to complete your ACLS Heartcode certification. This session focuses on the practical application of ACLS algorithms and skills through scenario-based learning and demonstrations. Participants will practice critical skills individually and as part of a high-performance team, including: High-Quality BLS: Continuous, high-quality chest compressions, effective ventilations with a bag-mask device, and early defibrillation. Airway Management: Practice with various airway adjuncts. Rhythm Recognition & Management: Identification and management of acute dysrhythmias. Pharmacology: Appropriate drug administration during cardiovascular emergencies. Team Dynamics: Effective communication and roles within a resuscitation team. Megacode Scenarios: Integrated practice in realistic simulated cardiac arrest and other cardiovascular emergency scenarios. Upon successful completion of this skills session, participants will be able to demonstrate proficiency in ACLS skills and team dynamics necessary for managing cardiovascular emergencies. **Prerequisites:** Please Note: The American Heart Association ACLS Heartcode + Skills Session is approximately 6+ hours total. To attend this ACLS Heartcode Skills Session, you **MUST** have completed the following online *prior* to your scheduled session date: 1. AHA ACLS Pre-assessment/Precourse Work 2. AHA Heartcode ACLS Online Course You must upload your certificates of completion for the online portion to the skills session BEFORE your class date. Instructions to upload our documentation will be provided in your Booking Confirmation email. 3. Current AHA BLS Provider Certification: A valid BLS Provider eCard is mandatory. If your BLS certification is not current, you may add the BLS training to your ACLS skills session for an additional $89 at check-out. **Certification:** Upon successful completion of the skills session, participants will receive their official AHA ACLS Provider eCard (and BLS Provider eCard if selected at check-out).
